One of my last projects of 2018. A logo for the newly formed Mi’gmaq Child and Family Services of New Brunswick. The Youth and First Nations are two sectors that I really enjoy working in. Both very rewarding in many ways.

For this project, the client supplied a concept of what they were looking for (kids/family in a circle) and we worked together to develop the identity. We chose feathers and sweet grass to represent both the culture and the seven communities involved in the project.

The final result above in colour and in black and white. Monotone versions of a logo are especially important when various applications are used such as pressing or engraving. The leather work featured below is by Mad Squirred Leather. Check out their work on Facebook as well.
